3M™ Scott™ Air Cart Cylinder & Valve Assemblies
The Mobile Air Carts and Technical Rescue Carts (TRC-1) are manufactured to be compatible for use with the Scott Safety high-pressure 5500 psi (5.5) cylinders.
Available in a 75-minute duration, 5.5 cylinders provide the maximum amount of rated duration breathing air. Two 75-minute 5.5 psi cylinders provide 30 additional minutes of rated duration air supply (at 40 lpm) as compared to the traditional two 60-minute 4.5 cylinders commonly used— previously the longest-rated duration available for portable air sources of this kind. By simply rotating cylinders, the carts supply several hours of air for multiple users at a time, providing a compact and efficient portable source of breathing air ideal for applications such as plant maintenance operations, confined space entry, HazMat operations and construction activities.
