Introducing the first NFPA, G-rated 11 mm rope, made from traditional fibers. This low-stretch Kernmantle rope constructed with a polyester sheath and nylon core offers maximum strength in a lightweight and easy to handle rope. G11™ Lifeline is ideal for rope rescue and rope access operations providing enhanced safety, performance and superior knotability. G11 is constructed with 32 carrier, tandem bobbin, sheath braiding that is optimized for high strength, reduced diameter, and minimal elongation.
G11 Lifeline’s fiber-core technology reduces weight and volume, but not strength. This innovation also means rescuers can use more compact hardware, reducing weight and volume throughout their cache. When the CLUTCH and G11 are combined, the result is a versatile G-Rated system with greater safety and efficiency for every haul, lower, ascent, and descent. Additionally, G11 promotes wider collaboration between rope professionals across industries and continents. Standardizing to 11mm allows teams everywhere to learn and train on the same systems and equipment.
