G11 Lifeline’s fiber-core technology reduces weight and volume, but not strength. This innovation also means rescuers can use more compact hardware, reducing weight and volume throughout their cache. When the CLUTCH and G11 are combined, the result is a versatile G-Rated system with greater safety and efficiency for every haul, lower, ascent, and descent. Additionally, G11 promotes wider collaboration between rope professionals across industries and continents. Standardizing to 11mm allows teams everywhere to learn and train on the same systems and equipment. Techniques can be more easily shared, adapted, and improved for the benefit of the rope community as a whole.
