CMC’s Rescue Rack offers several innovative features to provide enhanced performance. The large diameter aluminum bars provide excellent control for rescue loads. These bars are center drilled to reduce weight and allow for better heat dissipation. The proprietary black finish also prevents transfer of material to the rope, common with bare aluminum bars. The Turbo Bar at the top has a tie-off pin on the side. The second bar has a straight slot to help warn the user of a mis-rigged rack. Since the top two bars do most of the work, they are a full one inch in diameter. The next four angled slot bars are 7/8-inch diameter.
CMC’s anodized aluminum swivels are available in two sizes to allow users to select the strength, weight and dimensions best suited to their specific needs. Whether used in a rescue haul system, helicopter operations, or rope access, the addition of a swivel can help prevent system lines from wrapping around each other, while at the same time reducing spin caused by loading a free-hanging rope.
The Most Advanced NFPA General-Use Rescue Carabiner on the Market. Rescuers working in the most demanding circumstances will appreciate CMC’s ProSeries Aluminum Carabiners, the first aluminum carabiners to meet NFPA strength requirements for General Use. Combining high performance with minimum weight, these carabiners significantly reduce the weight of a rescuer’s gear while maintaining the highest possible margin of safety.
